This photo tells three different stories.

The smile.
The silliness.
The straight face.

And somehow, that feels a lot like life.

I didn’t fully know what I wanted this image to say when we took it. I just had this feeling in my chest… this vision I couldn’t quite put into words yet. So shoutout to my sweet friend Kristie for trusting me enough to help bring it to life. 🩵

But the second I sat down to edit this photo, it all clicked together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle finally finding where they belonged.

Because behind every expression is something deeper.

The loudest laughter can hide exhaustion.
The straight face can hide pain.
The happiest people are sometimes carrying the heaviest things.

And that’s why kindness matters so much.

To children.
To strangers.
To the tired mom in the grocery store.
To the friend who says they’re “fine.”
To the person sitting alone.
To every single person fighting battles we cannot see.

Life is already hard enough.

Be softer with people.
Give the smile.
Lend the ear.
Offer grace first.
Do the extra step.

Not every session needs a fairytale to feel like one ✨

This one had a little extra magic (just wait until you scroll 🦌)… but what made it *beautiful* wasn’t luck, or perfect timing, or anything out of reach—

It was simply her being herself.

Playful. Calm. A little adventurous. A little soft.
And completely *her*.

That’s the secret no one talks about—
you don’t have to “know what you’re doing” in front of the camera to have images like this.

You just have to show up.

I’ll guide you, hype you up, and create a space where you can actually *enjoy* the moment… and the rest falls into place.
