Messy Season! Final Photo Tip:
Check the little things, and add some staging
Put away garden hoses, empty planters, stray toys, and lawn equipment. Clean windows and tidy gutters also help the exterior look crisp in close-up and wide-angle shots. If the weather is good, bring out a BBQ pit, add firewood to a firepit and surround it with lawn chairs, staging to show how the property is used year round.

Messy season! Another tip for beautiful Autumn listing photos:
Tip 2: Refresh seasonal decorations.
Pumpkins, mums, and fall wreaths add seasonal charm. Remove rotting pumpkins, faded flowers, and decorations that have seen better days to keep the entry looking fresh and inviting. It is better to have no decorations or flowers than to have broken decor or dead plants in the photos!

Autumn brings a pop of color to your photos, but it's also the messiest season of all... This week I'll be posting tips to prep for your fall listing photo appointment.

Tip 1: Clean from above. Colorful leaves can be especially noticeable in aerial photos. Clear gutters, sweep roofs, and clear pathways of fall debris. This makes the home look very well maintained and the photos turn out beautiful.
