✨ A Little Pause & Some Exciting Changes Ahead ✨
I’ve been sitting on this post for a little while because it’s not always easy to admit when you need to slow down a bit. While I haven’t been posting nearly as much as usual this summer, I’ve actually been very busy behind the scenes with sessions and I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who has trusted me with your memories.
But lately, I’ve realized I’m stretching myself a little too thin. Between photography, being a mom, and working my other full-time job, I’ve reached a point where I can feel myself not being able to give my absolute best to every part of my life. And rather than continuing to run at full speed into burn out, I’ve decided it’s time for a little rest and reset.
So, I’ll be taking about two months off from booking new sessions.
A few important notes:
💕 If we are already talking about setting up a session, you are NOT included in this pause. Though I will not have my studio after September 30th and the new space will not be ready until November.
💕 Seniors who have booked a multi-part session will continue during this time.
💕 I’ll still pop on periodically to share details about Christmas minis, check messages, and maybe share some of the back log of sessions from this summer - so I won’t completely disappear!
During this time, I’ll be doing a little behind-the-scenes housekeeping like pulling down my website and giving it some much needed improvements, reworking a few things within my business model, and most excitingly… moving my studio! (Details still to come on that)
This isn’t me stepping away from photography. If anything, it’s the opposite. I want to take a little time to make some changes so that when I come back, I can show up with a fresh mind, renewed energy, and the creativity and attention that you all deserve.
