It was my honor to photograph this stunning couple while they were dating, and even more of a privilege to take their engagement photos last weekend!

Their session was met with an unexpected time crunch that was out of our control. But the variety of poses and moments we were able to capture in a short period of time is coming together into a beautiful engagement gallery. Thanking the Lord for allowing it all to work for good and for the opportunity to do something that I love!🤍

In my photography, I’m a perfectionist—I comb through every wedding gallery to give my clients the very best.

While I approach wedding videography with the same attention to detail, often the appearance of perfection achieved in photos does not transfer to video. There are no second takes and no editing out every distraction.

A little brand refresh for Darkness to Light Media 📸🫶🏻🤍

This update felt necessary, and honestly, simplifying.

I don’t know about you, but there’s a lot of things in life that just don’t make sense to me. And especially recently, there’s just so. much. noise.

It’s confusing, loud, and at times even weighty.

The Bible says “now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

So while many things don’t make sense to me, I know that’s how it’s meant to be. Our understanding is as “seeing through a glass darkly.” The whole picture of the puzzle of life is not ours to behold.

However, the beautiful truth of this verse is that I am FULLY known by the God who created all things. He knows exactly where each piece falls into place and just where you and I fit into His grand masterpiece.

You are not meant to be God.
You are meant to be who God created you to be.

It has been necessary lately for me to get back to the clarity of simplicity. Personally, relationally, and with Darkness to Light Media. Thank you for following along and supporting this little business of mine! I can’t wait to see what God does next, and to document more of your memories through my lens💌❣️
