Making friends as an adult can be weird sometimes…
Ashley and I were both mutual friends with this guy on Facebook, Chris Woodry, and he’s actually the one I FIRST sent a message to last year, to ask “who the heck is this?!” (About Ashley) when I saw her as “someone you may know” on Facebook 😀❤️
Chris and I talk about daily it seems like, as we seem to have the same obsession with old broken boats, scuba diving, our kitties, and are both pilots!
Ashley and I only JUST met Chris in person on Wednesday, when he drove 8.5 hours down from Houghton, MI to help us get ready for wedding stuff and get things fixed up around the house.
Yesterday we tackled replacing a bunch of deck boards in the heat and humidity, but were able to get a nice flight in later on when things cleared up!
You just KNOW when you meet a really good person, and distance, or never actually meeting them in person doesn’t really even matter. (but I’m glad you came down for our special day!)
