ARE YOU READY FOR FALL?

My Spring Flower Farm Minis were such a hit that I’m heading back to the flower farm this fall! Tree Farm Minis will also be back this year with even more dates available.

I know it’s still July, but photographers are already planning ahead, and I’m getting everything ready, which means it’s time to organize my VIP list.

This year, I’m moving my VIP list to a Facebook Group because I’ve had so many people tell me they missed my emails or messages, and I don’t want anyone to miss out. (Invites coming this week)

I’m here to help you plan your session around what matters most to you.

If it’s the first time your family has been together in years, we’ll absolutely make sure we get every combination you need. Those photos matter.

But once we’ve checked those off the list, we can relax a little.

That’s when personalities come out, the kids stop thinking about the camera, and you end up with photos like these.

This session is definitely getting two posts… maybe even three.

Sunrise sessions have been hard for me to fit in this year since my husband switched to overnights. But I knew I had to make this one happen because this is the very spot where I captured him proposing last year.

I saw a quote today that said, “To a big business, you’re just a number. To a small business, you’re a story.”

Your stories are what inspire me to keep building, growing, and doing what I love.

The thing about living in a different state from the people you grew up with is that time hits really hard.

When I moved away, my friends were all having babies. We talked about bottles, nap schedules, and sleepless nights.

Now I come home for a visit, and those same little babies are calling me “Aunt Ali” while we chase bubbles around the backyard.

So yes, this is another photographer reminding you that pictures matter.

Because they’re the closest thing we have to freezing time. Long after the bottles are packed away and the bubbles stop floating through the air, your photos are what bring you right back to this age.

When I’m juggling motherhood, taking care of my home, running a business, and everything else life throws my way, there are definitely days that feel overwhelming.

Then I read a message or review from a client, and it reminds me exactly why I do this.

Knowing that I captured memories your family will cherish, that you felt comfortable in front of my camera, or that your photos made you smile makes every late night spent editing worth it.

One day I’m photographing a family at sunset. The next, I’m creating content for a local groomer or pottery studio. Then the weekend rolls around, and I’m documenting a wedding day.

I love that no two weeks ever look the same.

The variety keeps me inspired, pushes me to be creative in different ways, and reminds me that every client has a unique story worth telling. And that’s what makes this job so much fun.
