My ode to my hometown, “Ponte Vedra Sunrise” 🌅 is out now!!!

Wrote this one with JB Strauss who’s from Macon, so we bonded over the Allman Bros sound which inspired this song! JB had this title idea, Ponte Vedra Sunset, but our sun rises over the ocean, so we flipped it to sunrise. I had a chorus melody sitting in my voice notes for months that fit the idea perfectly!

It’s really more of a metaphor than a song about a place. It’s about working so hard for so long that you forget how to rest, and finally putting the work down long enough to see what you’ve been missing and find healing in God’s “new mercies every morning”
