Passing through Monterey Bay, we saw an old gentleman who worked at the pier. I would imagine he's worked there for several years. He just looked so content with life. When we walked past him (with cameras in hand, obviously..) he asked if we wanted to see something really cool! Of course we did. So we leaned over the edge of the pier and looked down to find this cute little guy! I guess he's one of the oldest seals who lives in that area. A grandpa seal! How precious. I love that man for stopping us, for taking a moment to say hi and for showing us this beautiful grandpa seal. We may never meet again, but thank you sir. You were one of the highlights of my day :)
