Rebekah Talbot Photography Nashville photographer for the joyful, timeless bride and families. Observing nature and those in it has always been my favorite pastime.

I used to wander around the neighborhood, snapping shots of sun rays bouncing off flowers or the iridescent bug crawling down the street. God blesses us with immense beauty. I long to capture that in photo form, hoping that it gives just a glimpse into the joy, hope, and wonder of each moment. Rather than do this alone, I ask you to join me. The journey of motherhood can look quite different for many of us. And I’m convinced more and more that sometimes the most precious things are often the hardest things. While I am so grateful for the mothers in my life and the opportunity to love my children, I’m also holding space for those who find this weekend filled with heartbreak. I’m praying Psalm 34:18 for you and that you’d feel the Lord near.
And happy Mother’s Day to those staying up all night and working all day to love and nurture the precious ones you have. I’m so proud of you.

Your stationery and other decorative details can be more than just "things." When you've thoughtfully curated each detail and artistic element, they communicate to your guests the significance and character of your wedding day. When you have taken the time to consider what these details are communicating, they most certainly deserve to be remembered in a photograph. Flat lay and detail photography isn't for every couple, but I'd say it is most certainly for those who love artistic detail in all of the little things.
