We had some extra special little helpers this weekend. 🚜🌸 Our grandson took his flower-watering duties very seriously, while one of the girls inspected the peonies. And of course, cart rides and tractor rides with Grandpa is a favorite! Family time is the best! Thanks for letting us share a little piece of our hearts with you.

This week mother nature provided us with yarrow, Canterbury bells, and pennycress to add with our peonies growing in the field. Spectacular combination!! Enjoy!

Lavender cleanup: Done! ✅️💜
Erica and I spent several hours weeding, clearing out debris, and removing dead lavender that did not survive the harsh winter temps. See before-and-after... and the incredibly grumpy resident toad who was entirely unamused by our spring cleaning efforts! 😂🐸

Today, Memorial Day isn't just a date on the calendar for our family. We pause to honor my father-in-law, Captain Timmie Joe Ward, an Air Force pilot who gave his life serving in the Vietnam War.

When we look out over the quiet field of the farm this morning, we are acutely aware that the peace, freedom, and beauty we enjoy every day were bought at an incredible personal cost by heroes just like him.

Freedom isn't free - it is carried on the wings of the brave. 🕊✈️

To everyone remembering a piece of their heart today: we see you, we honor your loved ones, and we stand in gratitude. 🤍

Eric and I attended the Brewster Memorial Day Service in town this morning. Thank you Fairless High School Band, the Guest Speakers, and Veterans in attendance.
