It’s been a little while since I’ve shared some of the jersey mockups I’ve been working on, so enjoy a few of my latest designs! ☺️

Today marks 11 years since my sister, Jennifer, passed away. ❤️

Many of you who follow SpeedArt today never had the opportunity to know Jen, but in so many ways, she is one of the reasons all of this exists.

Jennifer was a racecar driver. And growing up as her little sister, I watched her prove something that has shaped almost everything I do today: just because we are girls doesn’t mean we can’t race.

She never made me feel like racing was something that belonged to the boys. I watched her climb into a racecar, compete, win races, and earn her place in this sport. She gave me the will to believe that I could do it too.

Eleven years after losing her, that lesson has become so much bigger than I ever could have imagined.

It lives in SpeedArt. It lives in the coloring books filled with female racers. It lives in the calendars, the events, the opportunities to highlight women in motorsports, and every little girl I get to remind that there is a place for her here. It lives in me every time I climb into my own racecar.

So for those of you who never got to meet Jennifer, I hope you get to know a little piece of her through everything I do.

She was my big sister. She was a racer. She was one of my first examples of a strong woman in this sport.

And 11 years later, I’m still trying to carry forward what she taught me:

✨Do you want to be on the cover of the Women in Motorsports Coloring Book, Volume III✨

As I finish the artwork for each of the upcoming books, I’ll be making a separate post looking for cover photo submissions! The Dirt and Derby Editions will be coming very soon, too!

A few things to know before submitting:

* I’ll make a separate post for each book, so make sure you submit to the correct one you want to be in!
* The cover is not photos of racecars. I’m looking for photos of YOU involved in the sport! Driver, crew member, official, photographer, track worker, whatever your role may be.
* Cover photos are used in FULL COLOR, not turned into coloring pages.
* Each cover usually features around 12–15 photos.
* Photos cannot have a photographer’s watermark. Unlike the coloring pages, I am using the actual photograph on the cover, not recreating the likeness from it.
* Drop your photos below now if you’d like to be considered for the Women in Motorsports Volume III cover!

And one important thing: You do NOT have to be featured inside the book to be selected for the cover!

Cover photos are chosen based on a lot of different factors, including photo quality, type of racing, variety in ages and roles, diversity of racing disciplines and styles, and sometimes it really is as simple as which photo fits perfectly into the space I have available! 💕

This was the largest sticker single sticker order we have had to date! 600 stickers, the order came in the day before I was leaving for San Diego AND they needed them to the post office in four days 😬

I was stressed because I didn’t not want to turn an order down, but in came Lexi! I messaged her asking if she could help me get it done, how many stickers it was, and when it needed to be done. Without hesitation she said yes.

And she delivered!!! She spent hours each day for 3 days making sure every sticker got cut in time and got the shipping take care of. This order would not have happened without her!
