Di's DigiScraps This page is dedicated to ways to preserve your memories in digital form! In addition to the "digi" part, check out the photos for other fun memory ideas!

I'm not JUST talking about 'digital scrapbooking' but putting your CURRENT albums in digital form! My name is Diana Meredith. I have always loved looking at picture albums as long as I can remember. I started taking pictures with my own camera in 5th grade, and still have all those cherished memories! I have done traditional scrapbooking since I can remember, and moved into the digital world sever

al years ago as well. I want to help people get those memories off their phones and into book form. Whether they keep it as a digital album or have it printed is up to them!

Idea 13: This one was so fun! I dug around in my Christmas stash and got inspired! I picked this magnetic tray up at a garage sale, used magnetic spice containers I already had, the cozy Christmas box in the middle is actually a gift card holder. I did order these fun lights to put inside each container to give it a snow globe look. I also added a strand of fairy lights around the edge. I propped the tray on a picture stand and Santa (or Grandma and PawPaw) can easily pop some Christmas cash in each ‘snow globe’ since the tags have the grandkids names on them! Easy peasy, a little festive and fun, and reusable and customizable! This could be a cute idea for birthdays too!

Idea 12: certain keepsake items just can’t be in a flat book. Some are just so special they need to be on display. I had won a credit at a furniture store and really didn’t need anything but came across this beautiful giant lantern shaped display item. I had to fill it with something! So I added a couple of small battery light options and put our precious wedding & anniversary items in and around it. Almost 27 years of memories right here, with prayers of many more to come 🤍

Idea 11: event posters. We used to have a Halloween party every year! One fun addition to the decorations was our “ghosts of Halloween past” display. I would make these posters each year and hang them around the house for people to look at previous costumes and parties! This would also be a really fun idea for family reunions. Lots of photo providers like Shutterfly, Snapfish and even Walgreens have poster templates and options. As you can probably see by the curls, I usually keep mine rolled up and put away until the fall! You could even have them laminated for extra protection!

Idea 10: This is a quick throw together but that’s the point! I’ve always enjoyed going to restaurants that have pictures either epoxied onto the table or under glass. I looked into a glass top for our table and it was heavy and a little pricier than I wanted to I ordered a large roll of thick plastic that is was easy to cut for about $13 (and I have plenty left over for my big office desk!) This project is fun because you can switch out the display items anytime you want without them getting messed up. I went with a Texas theme. Over the years we’ve collected stickers, postcards, patches, etc from our vacations. Some are in scrapbooks, some on the fridge…this was an opportunity to display them without a permanent place! I also displayed my kids’ oil derrick art from 1st grade! (It was always one of my favs!!) The sky is the limit! Birthdays, Thanksgiving, back to school! This is just a little taste!

Idea 9! Please excuse the dust haha! Most of us have a movie, or band, or genre that we just love. My cousin has a room she calls her “nerd room” 😂 full of all her favorite things like Harry Potter and Star Wars. I followed suite and began my own area. Why let go of some of those nostalgic moments you love? Find a small area (or a big one!) and have fun! Here are some of mine from Narnia! I used old worn books, broken toys from my kids, Renaissance festival souvenirs, garage sale finds and even one of my dog’s baby teeth! Found treasures are some of the best!

Memory moments day 8: my mom’s birthday was the same as Mickey Mouse so over the years she got tons of Mickey items including these watches. Some of the bands were very old and coming apart and some of the watches themselves just didn’t work anymore. So what better project than a clock! I got this clock at a garage sale, added some Disney scrapbook paper & embellishments, a sweet Winnie the Pooh quote, some amazing super glue and the watches and as Mickey himself would say “Oh boy!” I added a couple of small pics of her and thought about adding another in the middle but haven’t made up my mind yet. The very top is not a watch but a Steamboat Willie (with Mickey on the flip side) commemorative coin that I bought her one year. I also set the arms on the clock to 11:18, November 18th, their birthdays. ❤️🐭 I found Hannah’s Minnie ears and thought they would be a great extra! I’m happy with the way this one turned out! (And since we are talking clocks and watches, this project only took me a total of about an hour and a half!)

Day 7: memory magnets and faith on the fridge! I ordered these magnetic spice jars for this specific purpose. The magnets could stand to be a little stronger and that’s why you currently see the light switch instead of it being hidden. (I did order these through a ‘cheap’ site so I did expect this but there are higher quality ones out there!!) For my parents, I added things that related to them. For my dad, some of his IBEW pins and sticker as well as a pic of him with his truck and favorite country star sticker on the back. For my mom, Mickey Mouse, a yellow rose, some shamrock confetti and a lock of her hair tied with a red cardinal ❤️
My faith magnets, I used stickers, lights, mustard seeds and salt! The sky is the limit with these fun ones, but you do have to think small even though these are larger sized!
