I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately about AI and photographers sharing photos of kids, and I figured I’d share my two cents as a photographer AND a mom.
I 100% agree that AI is something we need to take seriously, especially when it comes to children. But I also don’t think it’s as simple as saying “just stop posting kids.”
For me, parents get the final say. If you ever tell me you don’t want me posting your child’s photos, that’s totally fine and I’ll respect it. No explanation needed! 🫶🏼 And if you’re comfortable with me sharing but would prefer me to blur your child’s face, I’m more than happy to do that too. Your child, your choice. 🤍 I will be adding an example below of what it looks like when I blur a child’s face for a parent who prefers that.
I absolutely LOVE shooting with kids. They’re so precious, pure, and just genuinely themselves. Getting to capture those little personalities and moments is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🥹♥️
Be aware, be cautious, but don’t let fear make the decision for you. I’ll continue sharing my work while always respecting my clients and their wishes.
