I recently had the pleasure of photographing these three beautiful horses with B&L Cattle. Having personally spent some time around them (both with and without the camera), I can say that they are every bit as special as they are beautiful.

I'm so excited to edit and finish the rest of this collection.

September is Women in Rodeo Month.

Mane Moments is undergoing changes.

The opportunities this business has given me are more than I could have ever imagined. It has brought me into so many arenas, introduced me to some amazing people, and allowed me to capture such precious (and sometimes punchy) memories.

That being said, if I am being completely honest, MM has grown into something that doesn't comfortably fit into my life anymore. Somewhere along the way, the business side began to take more than the photography was giving back. I found myself losing the joy and inspiration that brought me to begin this in the first place. The need to be available 24/7 was draining, especially because I work as a nurse and cannot reasonably provide that.

So, moving forward, things will look a little different.

To be clear, I am not dissolving the business. I am, however, reformatting the core of the business and choosing to protect my love for photography.

At this time, I'll be stepping away from rodeo and equine event coverage. This does NOT affect my currently scheduled events. For future purposes, rodeo/event coverage will be extremely limited.

The focus of MM will be shifting to western lifestyle and equine sessions, including (but not limited to) senior portraits, small family shoots, and equine and stallion marketing shoots and advertisement. Overall, I am looking towards more intentional moments that allow me to create your vision rather than feel like I'm just trying to catch up.

Thank you all for supporting this little dream of mine! I could have never imagined that I would be writing this to 14,000 of you 2 years ago when this started. I am excited for the future!
