We woke up to a one year old! Brodie Kind, you were born to "brighter than the sun" playing in the OR, which couldn't have been more fitting because you are truly a sunshine boy. Pey, your dad & I thank God for you on the daily and we will specifically treasure this day, and your toothy-grin, for years to come. Happy first birthday, silly goose! 💛

The happiest of birthday's to my beautiful little sister . She exudes grit, creativity, thoughtfulness and beauty. The sweetest servant-heart, and my OG valentine. Hailee, one look at tiny you and somehow I think I knew I had just been given one of the greatest gifts on earth. I'm so proud of you on the daily and we all love you so much sis/auntie Haydee! 💛🥳

Want to know a truth I'll be learning over and over in motherhood? It's the fact that I can only do my best by these boys, but ultimately God determines their steps. He has them in His grip, and the plan for their lives is not dependent on whether or not I perfectly check every single box for them/our family by the end of each day. I find myself constantly re-anchoring away from me to God. It's a dance I will NEVER nail down perfectly, but I'm okay with that because even when I forget all of the steps I like to picture Him meeting me with grace in middle of the floor. Like the song says "Faith is like a free fall sometimes, I guess I still freak out sometimes" 💛 (Photo credit to the absolutely incredible, )
