A little throwback to one of our favorite senior sessions.

Little him. Soccer him. Senior him.

Don’t blink.

Because one minute he’s little, standing in a cap and gown…
then he’s chasing a soccer ball…
and before you know it, he’s standing here in his senior cap and gown, looking toward everything that comes next. Now, he’s going into his 2nd year of college.🥹

The years really do go by in the blink of an eye. ❤️

This lady.

A woman who loves fiercely, gives generously, and keeps her eyes fixed on God through every high and every low.

Wrestling may have introduced our families years ago, but somewhere between tournaments, long weekends, celebrating our girls, and walking through life’s unexpected seasons together, we became family.

Happy 40th, sweet friend. 🫂
Thank you for letting me capture this chapter of your story. I’m so thankful wrestling brought us together, but even more thankful for the friendship that grew because of it.

Here’s to many more years of faith, laughter, and doing life together. 🤍✨

14. ✨

When she reached out about birthday photos, she had one vision: a spotlight session.

So we made it happen.

What started as a single lighting idea quickly turned into experimenting with shadows, stars, hearts, and creating images that felt more like art than just portraits.

I’ve had the privilege of watching her wrestling journey over the past couple of years, seeing her grow not only as an athlete but as a young woman. So when she asked me to capture her 14th birthday, it was truly an honor.

Most people know her as the fierce wrestler who isn’t afraid to battle anyone on the mat. But this session was a reminder that strength and softness can exist together.

Happy 14th to a girl who shines wherever she goes. I can’t wait to see all this next year has in store for you. ✨

Between setting up the studio for several sessions the past few days and editing galleries, I kept wondering why everything was moving. 😅

Turns out my newest little assistant, Milly, had decided the studio was her personal playground. While editing today, she was determined to make it to the top of this stool, paused halfway to catch her breath, and gave me just enough time to grab my camera.

Sometimes the best photos aren’t planned—they happen during the little breaks in between client work. 📷🐾

These two training partners spend countless hours sharpening their skills side by side, proving that iron sharpens iron. Inspired by Sarah Hildebrandt and a generation of women changing the sport, they’re learning that strength comes from both competition and community.

Champions aren’t born—they’re sharpened by each other. 💕🔥✝️🙏🏾

🌱 Pure Pastures turns 5 this Saturday! 🎉

I’m pretty sure every calf, lamb, cow, and guardian dog was ready for their moment in front of the camera. They seem to know they’re part of something special. 😊🐄🐑

For years, Pure Pastures has been dedicated to regenerative farming, producing incredible grass-fed beef and
lamb while stewarding the land for generations to come. And while they’re busy nurturing the land, they’re also passionate about supporting other local farmers and ranchers. Their store front opened their doors to the community, offering products from like-minded producers who share the same values.

One of the things I admire most is the heart behind it all. You can see it in the way they care for their animals, their land, their customers, and their community.
