Yesterday I had the joy of documenting V&G’s Hindu ceremony for day one of their two day wedding festivities. While the weather was at its Ohio best causing the ceremony to be shifted indoors at the last minute, luckily the skies parted long enough for the final portion to be moved back outside and the guests were all more than happy to help move chairs quickly!

Today will be day two of their wedding festivities (with much better weather) and my 4th wedding event of the week (5th is Saturday). What a fun way to jump back into my 19th wedding season!

Yesterday I had the absolute joy of photographing Gretchen and Jorge’s beautiful wedding at the Church of the Covenant in Cleveland. Their ceremony was held in a small chapel there and it was SO perfect and Jorge’s vows made EVERYONE cry - including me and my second shooter the amazing Bobbi !

After the ceremony these two braved the winds and cold temperatures to take advantage of the cherry blossoms in bloom around the Wade Oval lagoon by the Cleveland Museum of Art. They are SO early this year and I’m delighted the timing worked out for us to be there when they’re in bloom!

Thank you both for trusting me to capture your wedding! Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Tamara and Brian who actually did something I haven’t photographed before yesterday - a wedding during a regular Saturday mass! It just goes to show you that even after all the years I’ve been photographing weddings I’ve yet to see it all. I always love when clients throw me a curveball and I get to do something new!

Also thank you to Ohio for giving us tolerable weather on a Saturday in Ohio!!

Brittany and Sean’s wedding at Tudor House on Portage Lakes in Akron, Ohio was one of those days that reminded me not only how much I love my job but also my clients. These two made me smile all day long. Their wedding was proof that you don’t need anything over-the-top when the people and the place are already magic - but a beer guy handing out cold cans of Lite beer before the ceremony is always a welcome surprise!

If you are looking for a lakefront venue but don’t want to travel all the way to Lake Erie to find one, look no further than Tudor House! It’s one of my favorite local venues and I can’t wait to see their stunning conservatory this year!

While the rain popped in and out all day for Meghan and Preston's wedding at Sable Creek Golf Course the day still went off without a hitch! It got so humid though that the bridesmaids resorted to cutting their dresses shorter which was a first for me. Luckily Meghan planned ahead and had a new dress to change into that was short!

I loved that Meghan pranked Preston with a first look with his groomsman in a wedding dress instead of her. It was also another first for me and everyone was laughing!

Also mad props to Nikki's Perfect Petal Designs for the stunning florals!
