Did you know there’s only 7 weekends left in 2020?!? I can’t even believe it! As a result, I’ve been busy photographing families, kids and lots of family photo albums! I hope to share more of what I’ve been up to lately! If you need tips and tricks for photographing your own family at your holiday events, leave your questions below!

A few years ago, I fell in love with lifestyle sessions! Especially newborn lifestyle sessions! To me this is one of the most special times to document. A couple who just recently became first parents have completely fallen in love for this precious little person! My favorite thing about shoots like these is that it takes place in your home. Your art is on the walls, your memories surround you and it’s so much easier to relax in front of the camera! Not only do you have precious photos of when your baby was tiny, you also have memories of your home and your belongings which just adds to the specialness of it all!
Lifestyle sessions with your family are also great to use as holiday cards! Kids have a much easier time being themselves at home in front of a camera!
If you’ve had a lifestyle session before, tag a friend who doesn’t know what they’re missing yet! 📸

It’s that time of year again! Time to start scheduling your family photo session for holiday cards! School has started back and fall weather (allegedly) is on its way! I have several sessions already booked and only so many weekends before it’s time to send out holiday cards! Who's excited for the weekend?! I’m not photographing any weddings this weekend so I’m very much looking forward to spending some relaxing downtime with my son! I have been working on all my back burner business stuff as coronavirus has caused many weddings to either cancel or postpone. I thought I would share a little something pretty to brighten your day! Wedding cake cutting on a French Quarter balcony? Yes please! Had so much fun with .crystal and as they tied the knot - New Orleans style! did an incredible job with setup and serving the newlyweds and their immediate family! Congrats again!

I’m back! I took a little Instagram hiatus but I thought I would try to post a little here and there! I have been so honored to photograph some of the most gorgeous weddings and sometimes its very hard to pick and choose what to post! So I’m trying to make a greater effort to post and share some wedding inspiration for all the brides out there! What better way to share wedding inspiration that posting a shoe shot! I love wedding shoes and I really love seeing what my brides choose to wear on their big day!

Engagement Sessions are an awesome opportunity for a couple to warm up to the idea of having their pictures taken! I almost wish everyone would do engagement sessions before their wedding day, just for this reason! It allows a couple to get to know their photographer, get comfortable having their photos taken and also ask questions!
This is one of my favorite photos of Olivia & Dylan that we took on their engagement session. I like my engagement sessions to be laid back and fun! I know sometimes people can get nervous about taking photos but everyone ends up really enjoying the conversation! Its very important to me that my clients feel comfortable and at ease!
It’s not always feasible for everyone to do an engagement session, but in the past decade of me being a photographer, I definitely can tell it makes a difference on the wedding day.
