DixonByDesign.com - 🏜️The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic chapel built in 1956 into the red rock buttes of Sedona, Arizona, within the Coconino National Forest. Before shooting here, I had walked into the building, but never saw a photo that truly did this place justice. We then set out and captured its beauty from above, catching the sunset on the red sandstone rocks, as we believe this place should be shown. This engineering feat is where the desert landscape meets exquisite architecture.

DixonByDesign.com - Paria Rimrocks is a region of fantastic rock formations that was virtually unknown until 10 to 20 years ago, becoming popular only by word of mouth and publication of a few photographs. The Paria Rimrocks run along US 89, a few miles east of the Paria River, within the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. This is our most unique shot, as very few photos of this region exist.

Proud to have our first gallery opening in the heart of Las Vegas’ downtown art scene. We started out with a cheap tent, plastic frames, and no clue what we were doing. It took a lot of mistakes and learning to understand how to get here, but the journey was worth the wait. We hope you come by to say hello and see the metal and canvas pieces I’ve designed over the last 2 years. I will have prints for sale as well for those who want something from the wall, but can’t afford larger pieces. In this economy, I make sure everyone has a seat at the table.
