Taix Photography was honored to be the official photographer for the SMA Holiday Market. What a great event we had this weekend. Beautiful weather, tons of vendors with jewelry, apparel, food, crafts, and so much more. This weekend, we lost a dear friend. If we took portraits for you at your wedding, or an event, there is a good chance that one of our second shooters was a gentleman named Gregory Juan of DVB Photography. He was good behind the lens, but he was more than that. We were friends from high school who somehow both ended up finding a great joy and passion for Photography. Over the years we teamed up for so many jobs, and had each others back at so many events I can hardly count them. We challenged and educated each other every step of the way. More than that, he was just a good friend. The kind of guy who made sure to call you just to catch up or grab lunch. To reminisce, or talk about plans for the future. He touched so many lives through his images, and will continue to do so for some time. Godspeed my friend, until we meet again.

This husband and wife team have taken their love of Star Wars to the next level. Embracing their characters from a galaxy far, far away (their Characters are married too) all while giving back to the community as members of the 501st legion: Bast Alpha Garrison. This entire photo shoot was amazing! Their attention to detail in their costumes, and their passion for their characters was exceeded only by their love for one another and their family. Thanks for letting us come out and play!
