I had a very good Friday night at , which focused on acts who all seemed on-brand enough for a tech-friendly entrepreneur festival. There were points when Brass-A-Holics synthesized four or five moments from R&B/funk history into something fresh, and Pell had the coolest, most rock star performance I had seen from him.

Thanks to Victoria Conway for this picture of LeTrainiump, who does '80s-influenced dance pop so well that it only seems like a matter of time before something catches, whether its a viral hit or an ad placement that becomes an earworm. The positive vibe from his show helps too.
