Not every senior session has to be caps, gowns, and a random field. Zoey wanted a session that felt like her — and that meant bringing along the things she loves most. From her sweet pup, to her bearded dragon, to her vintage turquoise Mustang, every detail told a piece of her story. And of course, we had to include a little FFA pride too! 💙

That’s one of my favorite things about senior sessions. They’re not just about celebrating graduation — they’re about capturing who you are in this season of life before everything changes.

Hi, I’m Amanda — the face behind ALC Captures Co. ✨🍊📸

It felt like the perfect time to reintroduce myself as I celebrate another year around the sun 🌞 & we continue growing into another beautiful year of this little business — with our 3-year anniversary coming up this fall!

I’m a wife to my hardworking husband, mama to my two sweet boys, and the heart behind the camera here at ALC Captures Co.

Motherhood is the reason this business means so much to me. It’s what taught me just how quickly these seasons pass — the messy, beautiful, ordinary moments that somehow become the ones we miss most.

What started as a creative outlet has grown into something so much bigger: a way to help support my family while preserving the fleeting moments that matter most for yours.

This weekend, I put together this simple little backyard setup as a reminder to myself that I deserve to step in front of the camera sometimes too. As photographers, we spend so much time capturing everyone else’s memories that we forget to document our own. (Hehehe just like mamas do!) 🤍

These photos are a little glimpse into the heart behind this business — my biggest why.

As we work our way toward three years this October, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for how far this dream has come and so excited for everything still ahead!

Same senior, different side of the story.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is creating something that goes beyond the typical cap + gown photos and truly shows off each senior’s personality.

For Erik, that meant capturing the side of him that feels most authentic — his truck, the outdoors, fishing, and that laid-back flo grown lifestyle.

Senior sessions should tell a story about who you are right now, what you love, and the things that have shaped this season of life.

This is what makes every session unique — because no two seniors are the same, and their photos shouldn’t be either.

Erik’s senior session was all about celebrating the things that have shaped his journey — his love for baseball and his incredible Academic Scholar achievement. ⚾️🎓
