Lately I’ve been reflecting on what photography truly means to me.

Of course I love creating beautiful images, but this work has never just been about taking pictures. It’s about preserving moments, emotions, and memories that people may hold onto forever.

Since I started this journey I’ve done “pay what you can” sessions, gifted sessions to families going through difficult seasons, and recently volunteered to provide bereavement photography for local hospitals for families experiencing the unimaginable loss of a baby. Those moments are heartbreaking, but I believe those families deserve to have something tangible to hold onto just as much as anyone celebrating life’s happiest milestones.

Photography is such a powerful thing. Sometimes it captures joy, sometimes grief, sometimes strength, motherhood, love, or healing. No matter the circumstance, I never want this business to feel purely transactional to me. I want people to feel seen, cared for, and valued.

I’m incredibly grateful for every family and person who trusts me to tell part of their story. 🤍 Thank you. 🙏
