Still a , BUT, this is my first attempt at a larger Plein air canvas. I usually stick with 8x10, 9x12, 10x10 or 12x12, and occasionally 11x14. This 16x20 was a huge leap! This is the result after two hours. Definitely not finished, but I love where it's going. I'll finish this in the studio...and I wonder if I would have the stamina to actually finish this size in one sitting outside. My shoulder is killing me, the sun was getting really hot even with my hat on, and I just felt like I was running out of steam and energy even though I can see the moves I need to make next. Definitely an interesting experience and gives me a boost of confidence to work a bit larger en plein air.
