Above the clouds, beyond expectations!

This photo was from a recent trip to Turkey for my honeymoon.

The Needles, Isle of Wight.

Operating from 1859 - Present becoming automated in 1994.

One of my favourite lighthouses in Hampshire.

It is a light at the end of a long passage to announce the arrival of Land as well as being a warning of danger.

Having sailed past it in days like this photo and also in gale force winds running from the Atlantic swells to the safety of port.

The grand day out

My wife and I took a trip to Longleat.

It was lovely to explore somewhere that was magical as a kid and experience it all again as an adult.

The sun shone on us that day and made it the perfect trip.

Last weekend saw me and my wife take a walk round Itchen Valley country park in Southampton.

Sun shining, blue skys and English bluebells out in all their glory.

As the summer months come back and the heat kicks in, I’m looking forward to getting out more and taking time to get back into photography and away from the hustle and bustle of daily working life.
