Getting to photograph tapper, and pianist, was such a delight. His piece to Rhapsody in Blue was hilarious, exciting and full of fun. He is such a versatile dancer mixing tap with other dance techniques and comedy.

piece performed by was incredible. I had this Mad Max Thunderdome feeling the whole time I was watching. When photographing and editing this piece the thing that stood out was the intensity of each dancer and their facial expressions. That is something that I love about capturing dance because I can look closely and discover things you may miss just watching the dance.

is an amazing company and I am so glad I got to photograph them at the fall for dance opening. Their dancers and choreographer are incredible. The Statement was really intense and felt cinematic.

I think there was a collective breath at the end of the piece.
