Hi, I’m Carol McGuinness — an interior and architectural photographer with a love for spaces that tell a story.
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where color, light, texture, and rhythm are part of everyday life. I later spent 13 years in New York City working in luxury marketing and PR, in a world where details matter and presentation is everything. Those two places shaped the way I see.

Today, I bring that balance of warmth and precision to my photography. I’m drawn to the details that give a space its character — light falling across stone, shadows tracing an architectural curve, and the subtle ways a room can feel calm, dramatic, intimate, or inviting.
For me, photographing a home or building is about more than documenting what’s there. It’s about capturing the intention behind the design and creating images that communicate how a space feels.
My goal is simple: to create imagery that elevates a space and tells its story beautifully.
