I believe you can tell a lot about a person by the spaces they choose to show up in. Having a space to create in is key to the development of any artist, and I aim to own a studio space in Philadelphia that serves the local community and empowers many others to make their visions and ideas a reality. Throughout my career, I've been able to connect people and curate exciting spaces where creativity can spark and innovation can thrive. While at Dear World, I produced and photographed events designed to bridge understanding and build community. Through storytelling experiences, live keynotes, and interactive activations, I helped individuals and organizations connect more deeply with the people around them. I took those skills and applied them to my freelance work, where I continue to be passionate about building spaces where creatives learn, connect, and share resources. That drive has evolved into my current role as Director of Operations for APT-122, where I focus on creating processes that pave the way for equitable creative opportunities within the world of experiential brands and businesses. On a personal level, I'm fueled by personal growth, exceptional taste in music, and supporting fellow creatives. I'm an active member of the photo and events communities in Philly and NYC, and I'm always up for a thought-provoking conversation or discovering hidden gems in the city. For a long time and I have been driven by the power of building community and giving others the courage to share their stories. There's just something so *chefs kiss* about it. We worked diligently for years across the country, putting on events where we witnessed strangers become good friends almost instantaneously. So you can imagine how magical it was to see his community come together and celebrate James in the spotlight for his first comedy album recording.

I am forever honored to capture his career progression and personally can't wait to watch the final recording because I was cracking up the whole night. So much so that I watched the show twice :).

During my last photoshoot with we sat down and took some time to talk about being creators who bring people together and how what we create is not just for me, it's for 'we'.

"I'm out of the ego phase of creating my music... How can we really succeed without the community we create with?" This mentality has been at his core for the 9 years I've known him but it was really refreshing to hear the acceptance and the embrace of it all.

So many times we're so focused on our grind that we forget the best part about being an artist; touching the hearts of others and bringing them along for the ride.

A couple weeks ago I was blessed with the opportunity to capture at my old high school . I hadn't seen Yoon in person since our days there waayyy back when but we've been stalwart supporters of each other and our crafts online. It was such a great and long overdue reunion.

Yoon was a trumpet mentor to me in high school and a big reason why I fell in love with music and pursued more than just one creative interest. To see her come back to a place that helped us grow into the people we are now, share her experience with the students, and inspire them was such an eye watering moment and a huge reminder of why we were friends and how our values are intertwined.

I love you Yoon! You are still inspiring me till this day. ~

Had such a great time capturing Sebrina Tate, Executive Director of .bebashi; a non-profit organization who's mission is to empower Black and Brown people to enhance the quality of their health & wellbeing by providing health, education, and social services.

Sebrina was such a joy to photograph & I'm grateful to , .loves, and for the opportunity to photograph a Philly hero!
