I’ll tell you what, I’m SO inspired by the artwork it makes me HAVE to step up my game!!! I walked in an artist walked out a fan of so many!!!!

Just got back home (MN) a little while ago from NYC!!!! Let me tell you! The Show opening was PACKED aaaaaaaand it was SOO Amazing!!! I am the ONLY person representing Minnesota specifically RONDO in the whole show!!! There were so sooo many inspiring pieces there!! So much Love in the building! The Wilmer Jennings Galley space has been Black owned since 1974 I literally felt the energy from the walls tell me I belong here! This Galley space has been Fighting to give black artists a platform to display and elevate their work for over 50 years! ! I’ve learned so much in that one day!! I’ve met some of New York legends, and to have MY WORK displayed in the same show!!!? 🥴🥴🥴Brothers who’s work has been seen around the world!! Legendary photographers who shot the civil rights movement! Legends like Chester Higgins Jr. a renowned photographer known for capturing the dignity of Black life, with his most iconic works including the 1969 photograph of Maya Angelou and his extensive, decades-long documentation for The New York Times.
I cant thank you enough Jamel Shabazz I swear, your support, belief in me, guidance and opportunities motivate me!!! I admire how intentional you are, who you are to our community and me personally!

Been working on this collaboration for over a year Karl Peterson thanks for your persistence in making this happen! My art exhibition entitled “US” is *Now up at William Hamline law school in St Paul. Currently not open to the general public because of the climate around ICE. Security is pretty thick and strict now. Still feel blessed. There’s going to be some people. I feel needs to see these pieces. Shout out to my baby girl.Atiya for helping me! Creating my (Lables) and making sure the models and their Instagram‘s are labeled so Bri, Madison, Shia and Rasta, people are now going to be able to learn who you are as well as admire your image on the wall.
i’m also showing works from this exhibit in New York this month. Super thankful.

Super blessed to be able to show two of my pieces from my installation “US “ in this exhibit. To be honest, it’s a little surreal lol it’s a collective of amazing photographers and I’m going to be in the company of greats like To have anything I’m showing in the same space as someone I’ve admired and looked up to for over 14 years is amazing and so grateful for the opportunity!!!
