I’ve never posted myself here, but I think today is an exception.
Meet Moto, my furry child.
We met during my darkest time and has ever since been inseparable, from Malaysia to New York, and to wherever the road takes us.
Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer and has since been a real trooper having gone through surgery, new diet regime and on-going piles of medication. My life with her is ever changing, ever growing. We’re both constantly discovering new dynamics in new realms.
Being far away from home is hard, but together, we are home.
My dearest Moto,
Nobody knows me like you do, nobody purrs me like you do, nobody loves me like you do.
Thank you for choosing me when nobody else did. Thank you for trusting me with your toe beans. You make my scarry nights bearable, my daunting morning awakening. I owe most parts of my life to you for getting me through it all.
There are never enough words (or scratches) to describe this feeling of gratitude having a soulful connection with you.
I know it’s not an international cat day, but on this delightful day celebrating females, I feel you deserve to be in the spotlight and have my friends and followers know how special you are to me.
For the time that we have left together, I just want you to know that I promise I always give my best for you, every day, every breath.
I love you dearly.
