As we prepared to close the 2025 chapter, NHRC staff gathered to reflect on the year that was filled with hardship and solidarity while uplifting our hopes, intentions, and areas of focus as we move through the challenges in this new year. We were blessed to be joined by artist Noelia Mercedes, who created the beautiful artwork below capturing our staff-wide conversation of what we envision for NHRC and the wider harm reduction community in 2026 — and how we can show up to make it so, together.
