During the first week of February 2021, our photo team covered an insurance industry annual conference at the PGA Resort in Palm Beach. About 150 in-person attendees and the remainder joined-in virtually via streaming. All those involved on-site (attendees, organizers, resort staff, vendors) were respectful and adhered to the prescribed CDC guidelines. The attendees received educational training, accepted awards, reconnected with colleagues, networked and made new connections and enjoyed themselves at a beautiful Florida resort. The conference went smoothly –and safely, without any incidents reported during or post-event by the event organizers.
A huge 'THANK YOU' to all the resorts, venues, meeting planners, production companies and vendors who are part of the vanguard in the event and hospitality industry that are willing to take the lead and figure out how to organize and successfully produce safe and effective conferences and meetings. It is encouraging to see our industry coming back to life again!
