🎹 Last day teaching my lovely students and working with the great staff at 🥁

The past eight months of teaching piano and drums at Bay Ridge School of Music have been the most rewarding teaching experience I’ve ever had. However, every wonderful journey has its time for goodbye. I have recently decided to move on to new ventures that can continually serve my community in Brooklyn.

As a Christian, I have long desired to use the gifts God has given me to help others. Being an instructor here has allowed me to fulfill my calling by nurturing the musical talents of children and young people. Now, I feel called to shift my focus toward serving the seniors in our community, and I’m excited about the new opportunities this path will bring.

Came here for the Ark Encounter but ended up spending more time taking pictures in Cincinnati.

我本身係一個隻身由香港嚟到紐約讀電影導演系嘅留學生。記得疫情猖獗嘅時候，滯留喺異鄉，困喺屋企冇嘢做，當時打開電視覺得最好睇就係《全民造星三》，我係喺呢個節目開始留意Kira你嘅表演，真係覺得你好charm好有型，唱得跳得，你係一粒識發光嘅金子，見證你一路以嚟嘅努力同進步，真係覺得好勵志，加油！

講起識發光嘅金子，就要提相中嘅髮型屋。記得我九年前（已經咁耐）啱啱嚟到美國嘅時候，人生路不熟，英文又唔係講得好好，所以好多時都淨係識留喺唐人街蕩。有一日經過呢間髮型屋，佢竟然貼住兩張店長同我偶像李安導演嘅合照，我係因為李安導演嘅歷程同作品，所以先想嚟紐約讀電影。我望住嗰兩張識發光嘅相，本身嗰日都唔使剪頭髮嘅，但係就俾一股強勁嘅力量扯咗我入去，我問入邊嘅師傅：「請問⋯李安導演係咪嚟開呢度剪頭髮㗎？」師傅答：「梗係啦，李安導演上個禮拜先嚟過咋嘛！」當刻我真係心跳加速，最後仲幫襯埋佢哋，剪到個頭髮鬼死咁短。

如是者，經歷咗好多個秋與冬，每次我要剪頭髮都會嚟返呢度，期望有一日打開門口會見到李安喺度剪緊頭髮，但係事實卻係不斷重複嘅對白，「李安導演最近有冇嚟剪頭髮啊？」「有啊，佢上個禮拜先嚟過咋嘛。」我開始懷疑，究竟我係咪次次都係遲李安一個禮拜先剪頭髮？定係我已經入咗個騙局？我唔知道，我淨係知道，自己過咗咁多年仍然係好想拍電影，仍然視李安為我嘅目標。有一次，我朋友竟然喺一間餐館撞到李安，仲攞到佢簽名，佢將個簽名送咗俾我，然後好瀟灑咁講：「我都唔鍾意電影嘅，係你鍾意咋嘛！」有時就係咁，越想得到嘅總會得不到，最後竟然係咁嘅機緣巧合之下，攞到李安導演嘅親筆簽名。我亦估唔到有朝一日竟然喺紐約認識到Kira你，喺電視同YouTube見到你總會覺得好遙遠，但係認識咗你之後先發現你係好貼地、好有善嘅一個人。好感恩可以同你影到呢輯相，勾返起好多我留學嘅搞笑回憶。
