Bonjour, I’m Chloe! 👋 Follow along for a little bit country, a little bit fancy, and a lot of cuteness 🐐🐕🐈🐓🐎🐂!

There are a lot of new faces here and I thought it was time for a re-introduction of sorts.

I’m Chloe, head goat lady at Boxwood Ave. - I started boxwood when I moved to a town of 99 to share the journey of going from city life to life where there are more cows than people.

Over the years I discovered my passion for interiors through sourcing French antiques. My grandfather was French and there’s something so special about infusing my heritage into contemporary spaces. A blend of old and new. This is what we specialize

One of the most magical villages in Provence…

📍St. Remy
Just 30 minutes outside of Avignon, it’s the perfect “home base” or day trip! I love this little village because there are many restaurants, the town square is charming, and there aren’t cars to worry about!

It’s large enough to spend a day or two, yet it’s maintained its charm (whereas I don’t feel Apt has for example).

Go on Wednesday for a wonderful market day, enjoy lunch and stop into some of the most amazing shops!

The perfect charcuterie board doesn’t exi… 🫡

The biggest mistake I see people make? Trying for perfection. The board should be fun and invite people to pull up and stay awhile.

Get my tips for layering a board that is effortlessly French, delicious, and perfect for entertaining this holiday season!

1. Layering is key! Use a mix of leaves and bowls or trays to add height!
2. Splurge vs Save: Splurge on a few nice cheese and salamis, save on crackers and fruit!
3. Parchment paper adds texture!
4. A mix of highs and lows make the board fun! Popcorn and potato chips in a fancy platter is so fun!

🇫🇷 The Paris Flea Markets: What does a designer shop for?

Silver! Well and art, and furniture, and lighting. Oh and garden decor. And kitchenware. Why not bring it all home!?

Okay down to business though, silver is a great thing to buy and bring home in a suitcase because you don’t have to worry about it breaking and it’s incredibly versatile!
