A couple weekends ago, we spent the morning wandering around Williamsburg and Fort Greene with Whitney and Paul. We had a great time and got to know both the loving and the silly sides of Whitney and Paul. We even got to spend some time in their super great community garden. A couple weeks ago, Karen met Jesus Francisco Guadalupe, a musician in Times Square. Jesus is a very talented musician who plays the streets because music is what he loves, and if he can bring joy to at least one person a day, he's happy.

A little delayed, but there are some more photos of AJ Edwards performing at Newburyport's Riverfest up on our blog. Check them out.

Over Labor Day weekend we were up in Newburyport to photograph Aj Edwards. We have worked with Aj in the past (we shot the photography for his last album). He had the opportunity to open the Newburyport.

While on a shoot a couple weeks back Tim had the opportunity to step into the Yonkers Canoe Club. The club has been around since 1886 and has been at its current location on the Hudson river since 1938. While there Tim was lucky enough to run into longtime member Andy Hudak, who took a few moments to show us around and tell us a little history. He had a great story about paddling a canoe that was cut in half by a powerboat back in 1998 and had a newspaper clipping and the bent paddle he was holding at the time to prove it.

This year W&W mustered up a team to run the Brooklyn Color Run. We had a spectacular time and thanks to an Outex underwater camera case Tim was able to run the race with his SLR without having to worry about wrecking his camera.
