ICP is offering a unique opportunity to participate in these workshops through their Open Education Summer Program schedule. Lighting I 7.08.2024 -- 7.12.2024 10AM to 1PM
Lighting II. 7.15.2024.-- 7.19.2024. 10AM to 5PM

These are participatory workshops in which students are expected to create images extensively and encouraged to enter into a discourse paving the way for total control with the tool of light. Your first experience in Lighting I is to break the intimidation factor followed with Lighting II allowing time to enter the next level of blending the idea with the appropriate technique in lighting for the intent of your stillimage.

These workshops are small (usually 5 to 6 people) which allows for a great deal of hands on, one-on-one instruction.

Lighting II starts on Tuesday, March 5th from 6:30 to 9:30 at International Center of ICP - International Center of Photography. This will be the best class I have ever had the opportunity to teach. The reason being it will be my smallest class with big time shooting every night. Personalized instruction will be the order of the day. The only problem is that I need one more student for takeoff. Time is running out. You must signup today or first thing tomorrow or it will be cancelled. Get online and register at ICP.org. Where else can you get this type of opportunity experiment-create-execute with a little guidance.

Lighting II starts March 5th. International Center of Photography 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM for 10 weeks that will change the way you create images. It's amazing how many photographers have no idea about light. Why is it necessary when there is AI. Auto Modes. Auto White Balance. Photoshop. And more. Control comes from understanding the fundamentals of light, continuance, strobe/flash and mixing. Create images instead of taking snap shots. Is your photography a craft or an art form. You pick.

Lighting II is starting March 5 at ICP. Tuesday evenings 6:30 to 9:30 for 10 weeks. It promises to be a small class of 6 students with one-on-one shooting techniques every night.
