Six months might just be my favorite age to photograph. They’re curious about everything, full of smiles, and starting to show so much personality. Most babies are sitting up independently or with just a little support, they haven’t hit the stranger danger phase yet, and best of all, they can’t run away from us quite yet. 😂

I love helping families create sessions that feel true to them. Need help choosing outfits, colors, or a simple setup? I’m happy to guide you through the styling process from start to finish. The sweetest little face 💕

For many families, newborn photos done in the studio are one of the first outings, and it’s a perfect way to ease into getting out in the world with your new baby. No crowds, no judgement, just a safe space to figure it out as you go 🩶

Can’t decide between an in-home session or studio? At the studio, you don’t have to worry about cleaning house (although I genuinely do not care if your house is a mess - you did just have a baby!) or containing pets or good lighting. On the flip-side, in your home you don’t have to stress about packing a bag or taking a car ride. Which you choose is all up to personal preference!

6–7 months might just be my favorite age to photograph 🤍

They’re full of personality, all smiles, sitting up (but not quite on the move yet). This stage is also such a meaningful halfway point! Your tiny newborn is suddenly expressive and curious, and documenting that growth is something you’ll never regret. I remember feeling like we were entering a whole new phase of life when my daughter turned 6 months.

And don’t feel like this session is just for baby. Siblings are always welcome (and encouraged!), and parents can absolutely jump in too. These moments are about your whole family, not just milestones on a checklist.

Toddlers at newborn sessions don’t need to sit still, smile at the camera, or “behave” for two hours. I would never never expect them to 🤍

We move, we play, and we follow their pace. There’s space for snuggles, for running around, for snack breaks, and everything in between. I gently guide when needed, but nothing is forced. We switch things up so it stays natural (sometimes mom holds baby, sometimes dad does) and we take breaks whenever it feels right.

In this moment, big sister wasn’t super into being held, and that’s completely okay. Instead of pushing it, we let her stand behind mom and play peek-a-boo, turning it into something fun and familiar for her.

What matters most isn’t perfect behavior, it’s connection. The way they interact, the way they love in their own way, the in-between moments you can’t pose.
That’s what we’re documenting 🤍

Big news over here 🤍

We’re officially moving from Newberg to Beaverton!

This feels like such a special next step for both my family and my photography business. While Newberg will always hold a piece of our story, I’m so excited to be closer to more of my Portland-area families and continue growing in this next season.

For my clients, nothing is changing except my location (and maybe a few new beautiful spots to shoot 😉). I’ll still be serving families all over the greater Portland metro, and I can’t wait to create with you in this new chapter.

Thank you for being here, supporting my small business, and trusting me to document your most meaningful moments. It truly means everything to my family.
