I am debating between eBay and Etsy. On one hand, Etsy is geared more towards handmade jewelry. However, since eBay is used more frequently and is less niche, more people have stumbled across my shop. I have been thinking of putting my pricier items on Etsy, and my more affordable items on eBay, but this process will take a little while. For now, here are some bracelets I’ve posted to my Etsy. I have completely started my page from scratch (my ebay is still the same).

Landed right on the money with this set! This is a custom 5 bracelet set for a family friend, she named it herself: “Art in Motion”. I think the name represents everything I want my jewelry to be. Art is not stagnant, it’s in motion, forever changing, and the color contrasts mixed with the vintage beads mixed with everything else not just embodies this set, it represents the change of KBurns Gallery as a whole overtime.

I started out creating only mixed media collages, then scarves wound up in the mix. Then I fell in love with the motion of creating jewelry. Not just a motion, actually, not even just a “hobby”; the motion turned into a safety net, a stress reliever, and a mindset all in one. The more I made, the more comfortable in my own skin I felt, because I knew the first person to wear KBurns Gallery on their wrist, neck, ankle, you name it, would feel more comfortable in their own skin too. That’s what I mean when I say I ”create for the community”. I create for you AND for me, we work together to be more comfortable in our own skin one person at a time.

Sorry for the long post, I just figured I’d share the depth I’ve created over the past year, and explain how I got here from an idea; to sell a landscape painting I did.
