What a beautiful garden area, and if you are local, you know this gem of a place. But this post is more about some pretty flowers and well manicured pathways.

This was at a recent session, and the family wishes to not share ANY photos from their session, and that is completely ok. This is a reminder that even if you book with me, and wish to not allow me to share any images, I will absolutely respect that.

As today starts breastfeeding week, I wanted to celebrate all the mommas who are putting in the work!

Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to support the health and development of a baby while also providing benefits for the parent. Although every family's situation is different and breastfeeding is not always possible, it offers many well-established advantages.

This family joined me last week for a sunrise session. They are going on 6 months of EBF and that is a HUGE milestone!!

As this month is globally recognized as Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, I have been thinking of how to honor the parents who unfortunately have had to go through this, and I think I have thought of the perfect idea.

If you have had the devastating news that you have lost a child from utero to an adult, please comment their name below. My goal is to collect as many names as possible this year and put all their names on a shirt to connect us all in the unimaginable grief. If you aren't comfortable with commenting, but still want to participate, please shoot me a message with their name

As most of you may not know, my husband and I suffered a loss in November of 2024, so I will start the comment thread with what we called baby as we did not know the gender.

Please share with anyone you may know that can help someone not feel so alone
