Sunday reflection from the archives -
This photo was taken over a decade ago.
I couldn’t tell you where we were going or where we were coming from, but I can tell you my guy Joe Venuti drove all different sorts of ways to find the best shot of this radiant, almost electric sunset.
This was shot riding down Mass Ave - darkening the overpass and 495 to mask the traffic and really capture how this color takes over the sky.
A classic Lawrence landmark - the Ayer Mill Clock Tower stands tall at 267 feet high can be seen and is actually the largest mill clock tower in the world keeping time for the Merrimack Valley since 1910.
We may have ended the chase at the Lawrence Airport - but there we sat and just soaked it all in.
