5/19/26 Scituate girls lax wins 10-1 over North Providence in last regular season game!

It was NP’s senior night and a good, clean game to end the regular season with both teams showing great sportsmanship 🤝

* Grace Jacavone 3G, 1A
* Amy Glass 2G
* Maelie Bowden, Kennedy Hayle & MOLLY SHEEHAN 1G, 2A each

5/19 Lincoln inches by Scituate, 8-7

Heartbreaking loss after Spartans rallied ahead in the first half. As coach Remka put it, it was an education. ✅
But we are not dwelling on, just looking forward to next time we meet.

-Grace Jacavone and Althea Selby 2G, 1A each
-Maelie Bowden, Kennedy Hayle and Chloe Lightfoot 1G each
-Amy Glass 2A
-Julianna Pimental 1A
-Lainey Nelson 8 saves

The ladies head to NP today for their last regular season game. They sit again at the top (RPI)of the division ahead of Lincoln and Coventry, and have a bye for the Qs. Next game after today will be in the Semi’s the first week of June against the winner between Tiverton and Rogers. Let’s GO ladies and finish regular strong!!! 💪🏼💙🥍

5/15 Scituate beats (8-7) defending D3 champs Narragansett, again!

-Grant Bailey 4G 1A
-Jacob Robinson 2G 1A
-Brady Scanlon 1A
-Caden Gurjian 2G 2A
-Austin Dutra 1A
-Trace Dumont 5/8 Face-Off
-Man of the match Jon Greenhalgh 10 Saves, 7 GAA including 2 point blank shots in the final seconds

The boys are on their way to Rogers today for their last regular season game, one more W and 👀, I won’t say it🤞…good luck guys!!!

It’s a bit comical how far above the other teams they sit in RPI for D4, so I’ll comment on their Max Preps rank…3rd, in the STATE, under D1 LaSalle and D1 Moses Brown.

They’ve already got a BYE for the Q-finals, so next up after today they’ll play the winner of Tiverton v. NP, either on 6/2 or 6/3 and we think it’ll be at home 💪🏼 , stay tuned.

5/14/26 Scituate Spartans beat Tiverton Tigers 6-1

Scituate set a relentless pace out of the gate, securing a decisive 6-1 victory over the Tiverton Tigers 🔥
Despite a game packed with questionable calls and cards, Scituate kept their cool, slowed the game down when needed, and challenged the Tiverton defense.

🥍 senior captain Grace Jacavone ignited the offense with a goal just minutes into the 1st quarter
🥍 sophomore Maelie Bowden fired in the 2nd goal right before 1st quarter ended, and added an 8-meter penalty shot goal in the 3rd
🥍 sophomore Althea Selby delivered a perfect feed to senior captain Kennedy Hayle to finish the 2nd quarter and buried her own 8-meter shot in the 4th
🥍 senior defender Arianna Fotopoulous knocked in a goal from the 8 with just 14 seconds left on the clock
🥍 Selby, freshman Charlotte Vangel and sophomore Hadley Kampper brought relentless pressure at Tiverton’s crease
🥍 senior captains Amy Glass and Hayle, senior Bella O’Leary and freshman Julianna Pimental received their fair share of bruises forcing turnovers and on ground balls and breakaways
🥅 senior captain and brick wall, goalie Lainey Nelson had 4 saves on the night
⚔️ incredible defensive effort: seniors Molly Sheehan and Fotopoulous fed the middies and attacks; senior Natalee Kozacka, junior Lauren Henault, and Freshman Gia Testa locked down the back half

Scituate slipped to rank 2 for RPI (post-season placement) behind Coventry this past week, and Lincoln remains right behind.

Next up they face Lincoln again - but this time stronger, tomorrow, Monday 5/18, 4:30pm at HOME! Come out and cheer on your Spartans for this fight! 💪🏻🥍💙📣

Mr. Wentworth, we are WITH you 💪🏼
Ms. Terceira and the Scituate baseball family coordinated a “Whiteout for Wentworth” at their game last night to raise awareness and support for our beloved Mr. Wentworth. Emmy Sue’s Boutique sold shirts, the players donned new jerseys, and that banner shows just how much Mr. Wentworth is loved and missed.
Keep fighting my friend, we can’t wait to welcome you back!
Congrats to Spartan baseball for your 15-9 win over the Northmen!

Some underclassmen and newer players, as well as recovering veterans, played a JV scrimmage after the Pono game this past Friday. Great to see these up and coming players get more game time during the running 20 minute period. The Spartan future! 🥍 💙💪🏼 Scituate tied 2-2.

Spartans stay hot 🔥
Scituate took down Pono 7–3 on Friday at Caito 💥
A physical, penalty-heavy start set the tone early with multiple fouls, penalties and yellows.
Scituate senior captain Grace Jacavone cashed in twice from the 8m. Senior captain Amy Glass took a hit to the face, but battled through. Spartans trailed 3–2 at the half.
Glass drew contact again in the third, and buried the 8m to tie it 3–3. After more Pono cards, officials called a cooling-off period — and when play resumed, Scituate took control.
Glass struck again, then connected with senior Bella O’Leary to help push the Spartans ahead 5–3 as they headed into the fourth.
Freshman Juliana Pimental, off a beautiful feed from sophomore Maelie Bowden, scored with ~2 minutes left, then junior Riley Brooks buried it off a Glass assist to seal it. 🛡️ Defensive standouts: seniors Ari Fotopoulos and Molly Sheehan, and junior Lauren Henault coming off a recovery.
🥅 Lockdown play in net from senior captain Lainey Nelson as always 💪🏻

A JV scrimmage was played after, with goals from Chloe Lightfoot & Charlotte Vangel in a 2–2 tie; great chance for the new, younger, and recovering players to get playing time in, thanks to Pono for the goalie lend! 🤝

Scituate looks to continue their 3 game win streak this week against Classical at Caito, 4:45pm on Tuesday 5/5.
**no senior assassinations on school property, so you’re safe 🤜🏼🔫 to come out and support your Spartans!**
