Flying into SFO in the evening a few months ago, the pilot had to go around, so I was treated to some amazing scenery! We flew around the city in about 20 minutes 😂

After seeing two shows at the I was fortunate enough to get a tour of this historic landmark!
Built in 1932, the Paramount Theater incorporates the Art Deco style throughout its interior design. It seats 3,000 spectators, and features meticulously restored spaces.
In this photo series, we enter through the main entrance, look at the theater area from the stage first, then climb to the back rows, and finally wander the halls.

Recently moved to Oakland, California. I have barely scratched the surface of sights to see, culture to absorb, things to do, history to learn, and take-out options to munch on; however, I present to you here some photos from around the new neighborhood.
Jam to so live music performances at the Fox Theater (1), relax on a park bench at Lake Merritt (2), see the light at the Cathedral of Christ the Light (3), stroll up and down Broadway (4), climb at the Great Western Power Co building (5), see more live shows at the Paramount (6), look at the new construction and murals (7), try to understand the random law office (8), walk the street home (9).

Still going through photos of my trip to France lol. These are from after visiting Aix-en-Provence. Driving through small towns in the hills such as Lourmarin, Ménebres, and Bonnieux.
It was very fun explore these small quaint places! Gotta love the atmosphere.

Some more photos from Lyon! Views from La Basilique Notre Dame des Fourvière, along the Saône, then at the bakery, and other locations in the Croix-Rousse area. Amazing city with some of the best food I’ve ever had!

Trip to France Part 3 is in Lyon and dedicated to Restaurant Agastache! My cousin Mathieu manages the restaurant and it’s absolutely fantastic!
1) Beat raviole with goat cheese and a creamy cauliflower sauce
2) Light potato-based purée with hazelnuts
3) Lieu noire fish, squash, and creamy sauce
4) ice cream, tonka bean, and dark chocolate
5) mascarpone, pumpkin cake, apple sauce, and roasted seeds desert
6) wine
And the last photo is from left to right, myself, mom, and Mathieu.

In this series, we go up the Tour Montparnasse in Paris to get sweeping views of (1-2) the Eiffel Tower (3) Arc de Triomphe (4) Sacré Cœur (5) the métro. After that we go to Chez Bebert for dinner. (6) is a cat at the restaurant that looks a whole lot like my own cat.. (7) couscous merguez (8) mint tea and deserts.

Kicking off the Big Munny Paris photo trip series with shots from the first day. It was an unusually warm afternoon, and the city was bustling with activity. A band was playing funky, marching band-type music in front of the Opéra. We walked out to place de Concorde and took some photos in front of the Eiffel Tower. The mood everywhere felt celebratory, everyone enjoying the late October sun’s presence.
