First time riding at night at Lime Ridge Open Spade in Walnut Creek, California with my mountain bike. This park is familiar to me so it is perfect for testing out my night ride gear and skills. I rigged up 4 1000 lumen tactical lights with upgraded batteries and 3D printed brackets to attach it to my helmet and bike. The video shows how effective this set up was in ensuring I can see and navigate safely through the trails.

First time riding at night in Black Diamond Mines Regional Park in Antioch, California with my mountain bike. This park is very familiar to me so it is perfect for testing out my first ever night ride. I rigged up 3 1200 lumen tactical lights with upgraded batteries and 3D printed brackets to attach it to my helmet and bike. Had to get out there and push the limits, Started in Black Diamond Mines Regional Park. Took the trails all the way to Clayton. The. Got on the road and visited my favorite bike shop, Clayton Bikes :). On the way back took the “Wall” and am glad to say, the rangers graded the track and filled in the washed out sections.

My son actually buys me now through his hard earned $$. This is a proud papa moment.
