-I've wanted to photograph the milky way rising over this old barn for years. April is the best month because of the alignment with the barn and the field is not planted, but getting up at 1:30am is no fun at all! The weather was perfect and the moon was below the horizon making the sky very dark despite the light pollution from Green Bay about 25 miles to the SE. All in all I'm fairly happy with the results. No more getting up in the middle of the night for a while (4/22/26-3:00am).
