Hi friends 🤍
With so many new faces here on Facebook and Instagram, I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and welcome you into my little corner of the internet.
My name is Valerie Gonzalez, I’m 27 years old, and I’m a photographer located in the Permian Basin. Through my business, I try my best to not only share my work, but also share the Word of God and reflect His goodness in everything I create.
I photograph a little bit of everything — weddings, quinceañeras, families, individuals, and portraits of all kinds — but above all else, I photograph with heart, intention, and prayer. Editing for me often includes worship music playing in the background and quiet prayers asking God to guide my creativity and help me see His masterpiece in every image. Whether it’s a mother holding her children close, a couple becoming one, or a family celebrating their daughter’s quinceañera, my goal is always to capture God’s love, mercy, and faithfulness through my lens.
Outside of photography, I am first and foremost a mom, which is my greatest joy. I’m a wife to the most amazing husband God could have ever blessed me with, and together we are preparing to welcome our third baby. We live a simple life and spend much of our free time serving and growing in our local church here in Odessa, Texas.
A few personal things about me:
• I love coffee — especially Nespresso (I officially ditched Starbucks).
• I cherish early mornings with God, coffee in hand.
• I value healthy, organic living for my family as much as possible.
• I love hosting friends, playing board games, and meaningful conversations.
• I homeschool my oldest and am currently in our second year — and truly love it.
If there’s one thing I want you to know about me, it’s that I shoot with heart. I don’t just take photos — I pray over them. I believe photography is a gift from God, and I strive to use it in a way that honors Him and serves others well.
If you’re looking for a Christian-based photographer who leads with faith and intention, I’d be honored to be considered. I also share my full testimony on my website if you’d like to learn more about what God has done in my life — I’ll leave the link below.

📅 Important note: My books will reopen in May, as I’ll be taking maternity leave and welcoming our newest blessing in February. I’m soaking up every moment with my family during this season.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for allowing me to share both my art and my faith with you.
With love,
Valerie Gonzalez
