Vacation update:‼️

• Unfortunately, our vacation home was double booked. 🫠 So I WILL be in office this coming week.

• I will be on vacation August 8th - 22nd. But I won’t be completely unplugged! I WILL be back and forth for work.

• I will still be offshore & in the water. So if you need to get on my books, have any questions, shoot me an email. If I haven’t responded within a day or so, feel free to reach out to me again! 🫶🏼🦞🎣

Tip 3 for hiring a photographer: 📸

If you’re going to apply filters or presets after you receive your gallery that a photographer slaved over…

Don’t. Don’t hire them. Just use your iPhone at that point.

It’s distasteful, SO disrespectful and your pictures end up looking and printing like 🗑️ (& if you think they don’t notice, they do! 🫥)

Speaking for myself and fellow photographers: we would rather not be hired than our work end up discredited and altered.

Please refer back to tip 1 & 2 before you get to this point. 📋✔️

Hold up to your end.

Don’t show up and say “I don’t really have any ideas…”

Yes you do hunny! 🫰🏼 This is why you hired a photographer - deep down you have SOMETHING in mind.

Pull out that Pinterest board, I promise your photographer won’t be mad!

Do your research.

Find someone who shoots your style.

Reach out to photographers, tell them your ideas and expectations. I PROMISE, they would rather you find the photographer that suits the job verses letting you down.

There are so many shooting & editing styles these days.

Know 👏🏼 what 👏🏼 you 👏🏼 want!
