I've debated making this post. Every year, I pick one word to center my personal and professional goals around; this year, the word that spoke to me was "rest."

As our family grows to a family of five this fall, I've decided to step back from photography for the remainder of the year. I'm a firm believer in trusting the One who planted this passion and talent in me. I have no doubt that He will continue to provide opportunities when the time is right.

For now, in this season, I'll continue to serve my family, as this season is fleeting. My girls see the work that I do, and my husband continues to support me as I continue to support him in his active-duty service.
