What's in a name? Before I get to that, thank you for stopping by and checking out my page. We all have a reason behind why we chose to pick up a camera. Throughout my life, I would often find myself saying "that would make a great photo", whether it was a child's smile at a carnival or the intense look of an athlete's face on the sideline. I love the idea of creating lasting memories through photography. For me, my most profound memories are those of my mother, who passed away in 2011 from breast cancer. She used to always burn the Glade Apple Cinnamon candle during the holidays. The smell of cinnamon always reminds me of her and I'm always seeking her in everything I do. Burning the candle now makes me feel close to her. I feel like we are always looking for ways to feel close to the past again. Photos can provide the same thing. They capture a moment in time, and when we look back at them, we are reminded of all the precious times we had. My journey and mission is to always look for ways to find and create beautiful memories for my clients though photographs...just the like cinnamon does for me.
