Beauty comes in ALL shapes and sizes ✨ Share with a plant loving friend! 🌱

I find it funny how the weirder and more delicate a plant is, often the more valued they are- yet it’s kinda the opposite for people. Fenestration happens when a plant gets too close to the sun, too trapped in the wind, the plants adapt to develop holes that allow light and wind to pass through, with the light transferring to the lower leaves. We crave the leaves with holes- yet we often don’t give our plants enough light to have a reason to fenestrate… To do so takes work, preparation, and time. It’s worth it to see those beautiful leaves, even though they can’t take in light like they once did when they were young.
Nurture those closest to you, and don’t be surprised when they accommodate to reciprocate. If they don’t… it may be an invasive species… 👀

Hope that wasn’t too philosophical for Instagram this AM lol was pondering this as I fell asleep and needed to put it to words, this image felt appropriate ☺️🌱
