I am going to be removing galleries from the website by April 1st. All galleries in 2024 and Jan-May 2025 (dane/little league) will be removed.

If you have any questions or need me to hold on to the gallery let me know. There will be a small fee to keep your gallery up and running.

Please make sure after your gallery gets delivered that you download it and save it however you prefer. I do not hold on to the images forever.

here is a little reintroduction…

I’m Jordan, the photographer and creative behind Captured by Jo, based in Northern Michigan and always ready to follow your story wherever it leads.

I specialize in creating a photography experience that is joyful, welcoming, and tailored to each client. My approach is centered around connection and authenticity, allowing you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself in front of the camera. Every person, every love story, and every stage of life deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated exactly as they are.

Through thoughtful guidance and a warm, relaxed environment, I capture the genuine emotions and fleeting details that make your milestones meaningful. My hope is that when you look back on your photos, you don’t just remember how it looked, you remember how deeply it was felt.

A little more about me: I’m a warm weather loving, wildflower picking, travel dreaming girl who probably has a Taylor Swift song for every life moment. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me reading on my Kindle, planning my next trip, at a concert, playing the Sims, out fishing, or spending time with my favorite people. I’m currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education and working full time with kids, which means patience, energy, and finding joy in the little things are a huge part of who I am, both in life and in the way I photograph.

Captured by Jo isn’t just a business to me, it’s a way to connect with people, celebrate their stories, and preserve the moments that matter most.
